Notes About the Course at UC Berkeley

Letters & Sciences 22 is one of a series of trans-disciplinary "Big Idea" courses at Berkeley.  It is co-taught by Professor Saul Perlmutter (Physics), Professor John Campbell (Philosophy), and either Professor Robert MacCoun (Public Policy/Law) or Tania Lombrozo (Psychology). #SP2014

We rotate in different professors, but with the goal of always keeping one from the Natural Sciences, one from the Social Sciences, and one from the Humanities. #SP2014

The original course was developed for a 14-week teaching semester, including two 90-120 minute classes per week.  Coursework includes reading and short-paragraph written assignments before most classes, two course projects, five short quizzes, and a final exam. #SP2014
